A Letter to the Colorado Tennis Community

On behalf of USTA Colorado, our office is thinking of you during these difficult times. This global pandemic has put a strain on all of us in our tennis community. We know that most facilities have closed and that so many people involved in the delivery of tennis are adversely affected. Obviously, many of our tennis players are without their favorite places to play, without their friends and without the sport they love.

We all know that our tennis community here in Colorado is like no other. It is at times like these that we need to support one another as best we can. While we know that this will pass, the uncertainty as to when is disconcerting – to say the least.

Our staff is now working from home and we are all fully engaged in addressing the current situation to the best of our ability. We are exploring and looking creatively at ways we can navigate these waters – although it is extremely difficult with all the changes that occur daily and sometimes hourly. Our goal is to do all we can to support everyone involved in our sport – once closures and suspensions are lifted and the go ahead is given to begin play.

We are confident that all involved will be even more excited to get back on the court when that time comes. Until then, know that we are doing our best to monitor the situation, work and plan behind the scenes to provide options for play and will continue to communicate and update you – as we have from the beginning of this crisis.

Please visit our website for the latest information available.

Sincerely,
USTA Colorado
