News and Updates for Colorado tournament players and parents
There was a registration glitch with the Northern Colorado Jr. Open Championship and registration was closed earlier than expected. The tournament will take place July 5-8. To sign up please do so by Friday, June 30th at 5pm. Please contact tournament director Brenda Gallegos Brendav.gallegos@unco.edu for tournament entry and any questions regarding the tournament.
The 2017 USTA Intermountain Summer Championships, the only Level 3 junior event in Colorado, begins play Saturday, June 10 at facilities across the Denver metro area. More than 450 of the Intermountain Section’s top junior players will compete at this year’s event, which will conclude with finals at Gates Tennis Center on Wednesday, June 14….
Each year, under USTA Colorado Junior Challenger Tournament Regulations certain players are identified as too advanced for Challenger tournament play in the age division in which they’ve competed. Players may continue to participate in Challenger level events at a higher age division. Players who fall into these categories are determined from previous year sanctioned tournament play…
